John Mannell is Technical Officer and Training Manager at the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), bringing operational and installer experience to support industry standards and competency development. He provides technical advice to GGF members and contributes to the creation of Good Practice and Consumer Guides.

John has chaired the GGF’s Health & Safety Committee and the London Region, supporting mental health awareness and youth education in construction. He works on improving routes to competency in areas such as glazing, site supervision, and construction management, and participates in working groups within the Industry Competence Steering Group (ICSG).
