Glynn is the Deputy Agent for the West Midlands and Oxfordshire. He joined the Bank in 2011 from the West Midlands regional development agency where he was chief economist. Prior to this worked in consultancy, including a period running his own business. Glynn’s present role is to help act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Bank as part of the Network of Agents that operate from 12 agencies across the UK. The role is primarily focused on 1-2-1 conversations with local businesses gathering insight into all sectors of the economy. Glynn spent the past year on secondment reviewing Network operations with a view to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Network.
